Considerations on the impact of the world economic crisis within the Constitutional State
Abstract
It is a topic to note that the law walks behind reality. However, today, the impression of the lawyer and even the ordinary citizen is not simply that the law lags or responding quickly to problems late, the feeling is rather that national laws are absolutely overwhelmed by the problems and are becoming less effective as instruments of regulation. The overflow of the law to new problems, largely due to globalization and more specifically, the economic and financial crisis is impacting significantly on the constitutions of many European states, for example, by enshrining at constitution level the rule of budgetary stability.Published online: 27 November 2014
