THE PHENOMENON OF CORRUPTION IN THE SYSTEM OF VOEVODSK GOVERNANCE IN SIBERIA OF THE 17TH CENTURY: INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH TO STUDYING CAUSES

Abstract

Purpose. The article is devoted to the urgent topic for modern science of the formation of the phenomenon of corruptogenic behavior of the Siberian governor of the XVII century. The subject of the analysis is various sources reflecting the facts of abuse of the Siberian governor. The authors aim to analyze the causes and forms of the formation of the phenomenon of corruptogenic behavior of the Siberian governor of the XVII century. based on the application of various methodological approaches to the study of this phenomenon. Methodology. The methodological basis of the study is the principle of scientific pluralism, the principle of historicism and scientific objectivity, methods of source study, hermeneutic, phenomenological and comparative methods, as well as the principle of historical and philosophical reconstruction proposed by A. Kozhev in the analysis of problems of state, government and law. Results. The authors believe that the model of the existence of the “reality of corruption” among Siberian governors has not been studied at all due to the difficulty of interpreting the sources, in the “laboratory of a scientist” studying the problem of corruption, it is necessary to use multidisciplinary multi-aspect tools. Practical implications. The results of the study can be applied in the practice of teaching history, theory of state and law, administrative law and process, the course of historical disciplines.
