The radiation, reception and reradiating of the thin slot antenna with arbitrary transient time waveforms are derived in time domain and compared with numerical field simulation results. The equations are suitable for estimating typical pulsed EMI-Interference responses and penetration through loaded and not loaded slots in metal shields like bluetooth and wlan antennas including the radiation impedance. Examples are given for LEMP, NEMP and HPEM waveforms. The derived formulas are transferred in system theory based block diagrams.
