Abstract : The political scene in Tunisia after 2010 has witnessed many stations and bets that have been set for the success of the transitional path in this country, which made the political consensus as the main mechanism and a prominent feature in managing this stage. This is what has been discussed in this study, which dealt with the extent to which the consensuses have contributed to the consolidation of the Tunisian democratic system. This study has reached to the main conclusions, which are: The Political consensus played the most prominent role in consolidating democracy in Tunisia, by employing the logic of dialogue and concessions in most stages of the democratic transition. Added to that, The Tunisian experience was exposed to challenges that almost ravaged everyone's efforts, especially those related to the economic challenge, which is the most serious challenge, as recognized by all those familiar with the political issue, which the successive governments in the new Tunisia were unable to control and address.
