Implications of the pharmaceutical industry on the economies of developing countries
Abstract
The pharmaceutical industry is a strategic industry that is critical to health security and, to a greater extent, national security, enabling developed countries to take indirect control through pharmaceutical patents on developing countries, thanks to the provisions of the Trips Convention that enshrined the dominance of developed countries primarily, and then gave some rights to developing countries, which in no way can eliminate their technological dependence on developed countries, particularly in the pharmaceutical industry, and perhaps vaccines that protect against Corona disease, and the control of developed countries in their manufacture and marketing is the greatest proof of this
