Every organization, regardless of its size and field of activity, has its own organizational culture, which depends on its evolution, problem-solving approaches, and managerial practices. Current theories define this organizational culture as the main cause of success or failure of organizational strategies. The first step in addressing dysfunctions regarding organizational performance is understanding how specific traits of an organization influence and even determine the behavior of each individual, as well as collective behavior. To analyze the culture of an organization, researchers and consulting firms use various tools, typically applicable to large companies. The purpose of this study is to adapt the method of organizational DNA and its operationalization as a testing tool for traits and behaviors specific to veterinary practices, in order to identify and isolate the underlying causes of organizational dysfunctions and contribute to their elimination before they manifest.
