At the child aged 1 year 9 months there has developed the typical clinical picture of tetanus: trismus of mastication muscles, deglutitive problem, opisthotonos, respiratory impairment. The diagnosis was established untimely, the treatment was initiated late, not in corpore, but it was effective.
