Ethnographie d’un projet de développement social local

Abstract

This research analyses the realities of local participation by means of a case study. It focuses on the articulation between social and political development. It describes a rehabilitation project of a social flat in a very high building located in a sensible area of a French large city. It analyses the factors that favor and/or limit the evolution from social development to local participation. It discusses the difficulties encountered in the realization of participative objective.
