Abstract B‐cell lymphomas with atypical presentation or immunophenotype pose diagnostic challenges. Conventional ancillary tests (cytogenetics, FISH) can help, but have technical limitations. New technologies such as mate‐pair sequencing (MPSeq) offer a route around these technical limitations.
