Microzooplankton plays an important role in aquatic food web and they act as trophic intermediates between the phytoplankton and higher trophic levels. The purpose of this investigation was to study the ecological situation of bahmanshir base on biological indexes calculation. Biological indexes of zooplankton in coastal region of bahmanshir waters were investigated. Samples were collected using plankton net (45 cm and mesh size of 100 μm) during spring, summer, autumn and winter of 2011. Mean of shannon diversity index was (2.15) over the year and the min of Margalef species richness was (1.53). The highest and lowest of these of these indexes measured in summer and autumn. Mean of Hill evenness index was (0.83) over the year, while maximum value of this index recorded in summer and the minimum of this index was in spring. The result of Simpson dominancy index showed high value of dominancy in autumn (0.89) and the lowest was in summer (0.80). These results have a significant effect on the environmental management of shore waters of bahmanshir.
