THE ACOUSTIC WORLD IN REALITY AND CINEMATOG RAPHIC ART

Abstract

The acoustic world is the language of the environment we live in, everything that is beyond human speech. If we install a microphone in the middle of a particular space, it will capture its real acoustic language. We, however, hear and perceive this sound world in dependence of our mental state. In cinematographic art, film space is created in order to further create and determine the mental space in which the action takes place and the characters of the opera live in.
