SIGNIFICANCE OF BLOOD INDICES IN DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSTICS OF STREPTOCOCCAL INFECTIONS OF SOFT TISSUES
Abstract
The retraspective analysis of blood indices of 524 patients with vanous forms of stæptococcal infections of soft tissues was earned out. 282 of them had erysipelas and. cellulitis, 110 had a purulent cellulitis (erysipelas phlegmoneuse), 321 had necrotizing fasciitis and. myositis. It is established, that at the development of necrotizing fasciitis and. myositis levels of bilirubin rnea intermediate mass molecules increase in blood, activity of alkaline phosphatase increases and the levels of the cm.de protein and albumin decrease. At the development of erysipelas and. cellulitis these indices were within normal values. Therefore these indices can be used for differential diagnostics of deep and. supeficial forms of streptococcal infections of soft tissues.
