Synthetic high-power transient electromagnetic transmitter for mine and its application
Abstract
According to the superposition principle of electromagnetic field strength in space, a multi-channel synchronous transmission method is proposed to improve the TEM detection effect in coal mines, which increases the energy density of spatial electromagnetic field and limits the output energy of each transmitter channel to meet the explosion-proof requirements. The contradiction between emitted energy and explosion protection requirements was resolved. Simulation tests and field applications showed that, using the multi-channel synthetic transient electromagnetic transmitter to implement multi wire-frame combining transmission method can increase the transmission power under the intrinsic safety restriction, enhance the magnetic field response strength, and improve the data quality. The synthetic high-power transient electromagnetic transmitter can provide a technical support for coal mine water hazard prediction and prevention.
