STRATEGIC THINKING OF FUTURE TEACHERS IN A CHANGING CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL SPACE: REFINING THE CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK
Abstract
Working with future teachers in new regions of the Russian Federation demonstrates the urgent need to update educational programs, fill social and educational trainings with new meanings, and form the content of education at universities. In this view, the elaboration of a system for the development of strategic thinking of future teachers, designed to interest them and ensure a high-quality educational process, is extremely in demand in the region due to the acute shortage of teaching staff. The purpose of the study in the research is to reveal the basic concepts concerning the strategic thinking of future teachers, to formulate a value core to determine the basic life and professional concept of a future teacher for the development of this type of mental activity, taking into account the changing cultural and educational space. Method and methodology. In the research, procedural and activity–based approaches are used to disclose and analyze the basic concepts; three main approaches (procedural, activity-based, value-based) are used to formulate the concept of «strategic thinking» in a narrow, broad and global sense. The main research methods are analysis, synthesis, induction, and deduction. Results. As the results of the study there is the conceptual basis for discussion to elaborate a system for the development of strategic thinking of future teachers in a changing cultural and educational space and there is also a model of the strategy of the future teacher. Scope of the results. The system of developing strategic thinking of future teachers will improve educational activities with students. Elaborated taking into account achievements in world and domestic psychological and pedagogical science and practice, this system will allow you to review and make the necessary changes to educational programs, social and educational trainings, educational, cultural and leisure activities with students.
