This article analyzes the contribution of e-commerce Business to Business (B2B) in the management of supply chains, identifying the main processes developed through such tools in the operations of large corporations in Brazil, highlighting its advantages and disadvantages. For such, topics such as e-commerce, supply chain management and business networks were researched. Based on theoretical references searched, a survey type field research based on questionnaires with forms available on the Internet was performed. Ten major companies in the metropolitan region of Sao Paulo, which use B2B applications, participated in the survey. Among the various results, it was found that B2B e-commerce is established as an important support to the management of supply chains or business networks, improving the relationships, information exchange and transactions between the companies involved, increasing the potential for competitiveness.
