Policy integral improvement of neighborhoods in Medellin. reconquest of territory by the state?

Abstract

The main focus of the essay is to account for the change undergone by the Local State in the last two decades in the city of Medellin, in relation to its policy of Comprehensive Neighborhood Improvement (MBI), identifying their role in this process of urban transformation and discursive practices carried out in sectors categorized as informal development, with particular emphasis on what has been called the philosophy and practice of Social Planning.
