Abstract

In 2017, the Association Mnemosyne took over the management of the Archeological Park of Mileto.To define the cultural strategies, we used and analyzed the characteristics of the site, one of the kind, and the socio-cultural issues identifiable in the territory.The Project of « The City of Ruggero » unfolds in 3 parts:- The management and development of the only medieval archeological Calabrian park;- The access to culture of categories with disadvantaged backgrounds (high levels of student’s dropping out of school, migrants) and disable people;- The setting up of several research projects.
