Egisto nelle riscritture novecentesche dell'<I>Orestea</I>: immagini di potere tra politica e psicanalisi
Abstract
The essay runs through and analyzes the myth of Egisto, Clitennestra’s lover, in the contemporary Oresteia and Elektra re-writings. The essay wants to give a specific space to this character, whose role is determinant in the revenge against Agamennone. Re-writings examinated here go from the beginning of the XXth C. to present times, from the Hofmannsthal’s Elektra (1903) to Parrella’s Il Verdetto (2007).
