Abstract

This work in "empirical philosophy" is grounded into the experimental metaphysics of the architects of the Web in order to explore the specific modes of objectification it gives rise to. The Web thus appears as an endeavor to thinks afresh the very notion of object under the guise of a "resource". As a publishing platform, the Web takes hold of this very notion outside physicality. Objects qua objects are abstract though they gather around them many mediators to hold together and subsist. These mediators determine the trials and consequently the criteria of existence that such objects must satisfy at the end of a collective inquiry delegated by the architecture of the Web to Wikipedia.
