El Aristóteles de Alfonso de Cartagena: hacia una valoración de conjunto

Abstract

This paper provides a brief and provisional analysis of the presence of Aristotle in the complete literary works of Alphonse of Cartagena, since its beginnings (ca. 1422) until its end. We have tried to define more precisely the previously identified citations and to identify additional ones; secondly, we have tried to explore Cartagena's use of the existing Latin translations. Finally, we offer a general perspective of Cartagena's aristotelianism and its evolution.
