Effects of Balint group intervention on job burnout of nurses (巴林特小组对护士职业倦怠感的干预效果)

Objective To investigate the effect of Balint group intervention on job burnout of nurses. Methods Totally 79 nurses who were voluntarily recruited in the Balint group were investigated by using the Chinese Nurses Stressor Scale and Chinese version Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey (MBI-GS). The Balint group activities were carried out 6 times in a year, and the job burnout was measured at the end of Balint group activities. Results The primary stressor impacting nurses was Relatively Low Salary and Welfare (3. 51±1. 27), followed by Frequent Shift (3. 42±1. 22), Low Social Status(3. 12±0. 95)and Heavy Workload (2. 61±1. 02). Scores of emotion exhaustion and cynicism decreased significantly after 6-time Balint group activities(P<0. 01), and the score of diminished professional efficacy increased significantly after 6-time Balint group activities(P<0. 01). Conclusion In the training and stress management of nurses, the Balint group intervention is effective to relieve the job burnout of nurses and encourage their career development. (目的 分析巴林特小组对护士职业倦怠感的干预作用。方法 选取医院自愿参加巴林特小组的79名护士作为研究对象, 分别采用中国护士压力源量表和中文版工作倦怠量表 (MBI-GS)进行评估。定期开展巴林特小组活动实践, 为期1年, 共6次活动, 活动结束后再次运用MBI-GS评估护士职业倦怠感。结果 干预前, 护士主要工作压力源得分前四位包括: “工资福利待遇低”(3. 51±1. 27)分, “倒班频繁”(3. 42±1. 22)分, “社会地位地下”(3. 12±0. 95)分和“工作量大”(2. 61±1. 02)分。干预后, 护士MBI-GS量表消极怠慢和情绪衰竭维度得分较干预前下降, 个人无成就感维度得分较干预前上升, 差异有统计学意义(P<0. 01)。结论 将巴林特小组活动应用于护士培训和压力管理中, 能够有效缓解护理人员职业倦怠, 对护士职业发展具有积极意义。)
