Multi-agent transport systems represent a convergence of diverse technologies, with the Internet of Things (IoT) serving as a foundational enabler for data orchestration. IoT facilitates seamless integration across networks, devices, and infrastructure, heralding an era where connectivity transcends human-human interactions to encompass interactions between objects and systems. Within IoT-enabled transport ecosystems, physical components become sentient through embedded sensors, perpetually generating vast data streams capturing real-world dynamics. This data deluge holds profound potential for optimizing operations, enhancing efficiencies, and augmenting societal convenience. Harnessing these data insights is imperative for catalyzing economic and policy shifts towards sustainable mobility paradigms that harmonize growth and societal benefit. IoT integration presents opportunities for innovative business models and technological advancements reshaping the transportation landscape. The purpose is to formulate comprehensive proposals for improving the traffic flow management model of a modern agglomeration based on "live" data. The method and methodology of the work. The article used methods of induction, analysis, synthesis and abstraction; scientific and theoretical method; method of research and comparison. Results. The findings prove that sustainable development processes directly correlate with implementing transportation projects, exerting a multiplicative effect across related industries through optimized accessibility and logistics. Consequently, transport infrastructure quality improves from reduced operational costs, making adopting new sustainable transportation modes economically viable for the broader economy. Scope of application of the results. It is advisable to apply the results obtained in the field of public administration, economic entities of transport and logistics activities.
