The development of modern means of communication has helped to spread the concept of distance education significantly in all disciplines. It has been increased the interest more, and has even became binding on everyone due to pandemic of the Corona Virus (Covid-19). It is a considerable and distinguished means of education that provide a wide range of solutions, while enhances knowledge and learning in all academic disciplines without being bound by geographical or temporal boundaries. On the other hand, e-learning and distance education safe a lot of the time, effort and resources while providing an opportunity for a greater number to receive education with ease and ease. The portal of university self-learning, which serves as a system that simulates academic courses in libraries, information and archives specially designed to help students to access study materials and gain knowledge in the relevant curriculums to the discipline of libraries, information and archives. The portal also seeks to provide many services that every university student needs, including providing Educational materials in many forms of electronic information sources such as text, audio, video, and pictures, as well as links to the online resources. This study seeks to evaluate the university's self-learning portal specialized in the field of libraries, information and archives through a sample survey of students and users of that portal. Its strength is seen its role as a tool and resources that provide better services to students to benefit from these technologies to achieve learning outcomes and goals in general. As well as knowing the extent of the ability of students of the libraries and information departments to enable the transfer from the traditional education to the distance education. The study relies on the case study method by surveying, evaluating, and selecting a random sample from the study community to examine and evaluate the performance of achieving self-learning and achieving it for educational goals and targeted learning outcomes.
