The Culture of Translation Early Modern England and France, 1500–1660, organized by Tania Demetriou and Rowan Tomlinson, features an introduction by the authors and ten chapters, each consisting of an article by a researcher. The Culture of Translation Early Modern England and France, 1500–1660 explores the varied modalities and interventions related to translation in England and France, important hubs of literary and cultural production in the early Modern Age. Although marked by distinct literary and translational traditions, the two countries have always been bound by political, commercial, intellectual and religious ties.
