Un nou repte per a la gestió dels documents : la gestió de la memòria ciutadana

Abstract

On 17th August 2017, there was a terrorist attack on La Rambla in Barcelona. From that day on, citizens would sporadically generate displays of sympathy by leaving flowers, messages, candles or other objects along the length of the avenue. Barcelona City Hall created a website including a digital book of condolences. It also placed a paper book of condolences in its Salón de Ciento for anyone who wished to express sympathy in person. Days after the attempt, a team of people working for City Hall put on a display in La Rambla. Its aim was to gather the displays of sympathy, expressions of mourning and citizen solidarity, processing them and making them accessible via various digital platforms in order to highlight their significance.
