Marco jurídico actual y futuro de la industria del hidrógeno en la Unión Europea: transición energética e hidrógeno verde.
Abstract
This paper analyzes the current situation of the hydrogen economy within the European Union, as well as its possible regulatory developments.Hydrogen is, without a doubt, the new global key energy vector, in terms of decarbonising the economy and of effective sustainable energy transition. From the initially programmatic response at European level, despite the current global energy crisis, we are currently moving on to a progressive, albeit partial, specific regulation on renewable gases, including hydrogen. The ultimate goal is integration into the European energy system, and the creation of a true internalmarket for hydrogen, which shall have to assume, in any case, a series of requirements in terms of infrastructures, interconnections, guarantees of origin, standardization, protection of consumers etc. This study studies the current normative proposals in this regard.
