At St Pierre de Chartreuse (Isère), Common elected officials, community common Chartreuse Guiers and Chartreuse Regional Natural Park wanted to engage in tourism diversification to develop a "four-season tourism." Meanwhile, two companies specialized in sports equipment manufacturing have established offices in the municipality, to be closer to their customers. This study aims to analyze how different actors coordinate for their development around the outdoor sports; and how this process contributes to the diversification of the tourist territory. The results show that the public and private stakeholders have coordinated their actions to develop a new tourism offer around summer sports. However, disagreements about tourism development strategy place a brake of a new winter activity because it competes with alpine skiing.
