One way to succeed in writing is to become familiar with the feelings and emotions of the characters in the story and the processes of emotion. Sadness, fear, hatred, joy and pleasure in literature are called emotion and feeling. This feeling is known in psychology as emotion. The behaviors that follow these feelings from humans are called emotion processes in psychology. Researchers used descriptive-analytical methods to explain the mental processes of the characters in the story "My Dear Husband" based on the school of epistemology in psychology. In the novel "My Dear Husband", Fariba Kalhor uses all the linguistic capacities in order to convey meaning and induce emotion, and strengthens the emotional states of the characters of the story with arrangements such as imagery and description. A postmodernist view with a lyrical and feminist approach, the use of arrays of similitude, permission and recognition to describe familiar phenomena are the hallmarks of this story. To cultivate the theme of love, he uses poetic language and mood appropriate to lyrical poetry. The logic behind the narrative pattern of this story is association. Kalhor cleverly induces a sense of sadness in the audience.
