Capitalismo y libertad en Latinoamérica? Una aproximación desde los juegos de lenguaje

Abstract

This essay is a reflection about the text “Capitalism and Freedom” by Milton Friedman, and the language games in it, trying to uncover their relationship with the current context and the scientific disguise of a ideological thinking. From these language games, the paper analyzes the Washington Consensus as structure / structuring, and some of the effects that are generated in society from the institutional order proposed. Finally, we try to present some conclusions about the construction and articulation of the neoliberal discourse.
