Abstract

Degradation is the process through which the ecosystems are progressively contaminated, polluted, over exploited, fragmented and sometimes even destroyed (as a result of anthropogenic intervention). Exploitation of natural resources - all operations aiming to extract from the environment some useful resources for society.
