Elements of building meaning within the text of the media message
Abstract
Abstract: This study examines the nature of the meaning, and the elements of its construction within the text of the media message, and in this text, words and connotations are generated to form the meaning on the outside as a linguistic structure, and in the inside as a semantic meaning. In order to search for meaning within the media text, we had to refer to the intersecting fields of knowledge between text science and linguistics, semantics and media message theory, and to employ these theories in the field of media message analysis, despite the epistemological rupture that occurred between these fields, and the emergence of a vacuum gap between Linguistic and linguistic theory, and between theories of media and communication. Hence, the importance of the cognitive and linguistic focus concerned with meaning in the debate of media texts, and the possession of cognitive tools for analyzing discourses and texts, and how to build meanings and connotations within the media message in its social and cultural contexts. Keywords: components, meaning, text, media message
