A Systematic Investigation of the Well-being Studies Conducted In Turkey
Abstract
The aim of this research is to systematically investigate researches on the concept of well-being in Turkey between the years of 2000-2015. The researches were analyzed in terms of year interval, study group, number of participants, age range of participants, research model, measurement tools used, data analysis methods, variables studied and basic findings reached. It is found that the majority of the studies on the well-being were conducted between the years of 2010 and 2015, the number of studies on the high school and university students is more, the experimental studies and the model test researches are very limited. In the vast majority of the researches the Life Satisfaction Scale were used and it was determined that correlations, regression, t test and variance analyzes were used mostly in the researches. Besides, significant relationships between well-being and these variables were determined.
