A novel algorithmic electric power saver strategies for real-time smart poultry farming
Abstract
In India, most poultry framing industries are still using traditional method to operate. The three states in India; e.g. Haryana, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh are the most profiting in poultry meat production. Uttar Pradesh is the largest meat producer, which producing 23% of the total meat followed by West Bengal contributing 12% to the meat production. It is very important for the farming industries to maintain the food quality. Researcher suggested that implementations of smart sensors in poultry farming are also promising technologies for food quality control. In this research, a smart poultry configuration framework has been proposed in which the atmospheric specifications of a poultry farm like humidity, temperature, ammonia gas, lights and a few more get regulated mechanically for the augmentation of the development of chicks. Besides, with the application of a sensor constituent, water layer has been regulated too. With the application of a computer or mobile internet, the supervisor of the concerned poultry farm has the information about the inner atmospheric conditions of the poultry farm. Such a method adjusts humidity, temperature, ammonia gas along with the volume of water while cooling fan, exhaust fan, ventilator and DC motor help this procedure devoid of the attachment with man. On the basis of threshold values the entire system is operated and an algorithm has been designed to control the entire system. Thus, it is possible to make less power consumption as well as save money. Apart from cost curtail, in power consumption, it can also engage less manpower. Moreover, to have a new setup by destroying the traditional setup, needs huge investment, hence, in this paper, convert old setup into a smart poultry just remodelling them, which can save investment costs and give a huge profit.
