Abstract: Education does not merely enrich the student in fluencing the subject, but-more importantly-also utilize it in their life. The subject should be understood as medium for learning to be self-conducted person, responsible community member, environment care-taker, and religious human being. Experts has assessed life skills and has named it in various terms, which is convergent to: self-awareness of being honest, responsibility, discipline, and work hard; think ability formed as the skills of searching and managing all information to solve the problems, communication skills, cooperation skills, and specific skills related to the field of work. The life skill is not a new subject, but an educational orientation that should be implemented through instructional processes. The life skill should be elaborated as competence-based curriculum, formulated as pursued objectives in learning activities, and finally, measured in learning evaluation.
