Organization of scientific library events by electronic communications

Abstract

The purpose of the article is reveal current aspects of the organization of events held in a scientific library by means of electronic communication, determine the role of these events in ensuring user access to the national scientific and cultural heritage, the development of scientific communication of the professional activity environment, present significant scientific and organizational, scientific and methodological, educational events of the V. I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine, determine the topics of these events. Methodological basis. The achievement of the set goals was facilitated by the use of historical-systemic, logical, analytical and review research methods. Scientific novelty. Modern approaches to organizing scientific-organizational, scientific methodological, and training events in the library by means of electronic communication are highlighted to promote active scientific dialogue, exchange of experience in conducting scientific research, advanced training of library specialists and information literacy of users. Conclusions. Scientific and organizational, scientific and methodological, educational events on various topics of the V. I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraineopen up new opportunities for conducting scientific research, developing professional communication, disseminating library innovations, attracting new users, providing products and services in remote access, improving the reputation of the library as aleading institution in the field of popularization of the scientific and cultural heritage of Ukraine. The organization of events through electronic communication allows libraries to dynamically respond to the needs of their audience, bringing together participants from different countries without the need for their physical presence at the proposedevents. This creates unique opportunities for interaction between the participants of electronic communication, promotes the attraction of leading experts and specialists to participate in these events.
