A proposed program based on the philosophy of aesthetic preference in the subject of artistic appreciation for students of the College of Fine Arts in Iraq

Abstract

The research aims to identify the philosophy of aesthetic preference for artistic taste for students of art faculties. Whereas, the research depends on the descriptive approach, including its description and analysis. It also follows the quasi-experimental approach in the application of the experiment, and the research sample for the application of the experiment consists of 20 students from the faculties of art, and the research tools are through a questionnaire to determine the elements of the philosophy of preference for the subject of artistic taste (prepared by the researcher) and the preparation of a scale for the subject of artistic taste (prepared by the researcher). for the philosophy of aesthetic preference for the subject of artistic taste for art faculties, and it is necessary to pay attention to the philosophy of aesthetic preference in order to develop artistic appreciation for the requests of art faculties, which helps to develop them and use appropriate methods in teaching, and this entails providing both teachers and students with feedback and to identify weaknesses and address them in order to modify teaching methods in a way that becomes appropriate for students.
