La memoria biográfica y oral y sus archivos
Abstract
This article is divided into three quite different sections. The first distinguishes between three mythical, individual and collective. The second ‒the longest, entitled “the archives of biographical memory” ‒ presents a wide-ranging overview of the leading initiatives the journey starts in Poznan ‒Poland‒ in the 1920s and ends at the Archive of Grief, created in Madrid after the terrorist attack of 11 March 2004. The last section provides a brief reflection on the fragile or inexistent role that anthropologists play in the burning issue of policies of historical memory in Spain.
