Contrastive Characteristics of the Types of Commands in the Imperative Mood in the Kalmyk and Russian Languages

Abstract

The article shows that the semantic features of different types of commands in Kalmyk and Russian language are due to the context and determined by the nature of relations between the speaker and his interlocutor. The analysis revealed similar and distinctive features in categorical meanings of the imperative mood in Kalmyk and Russian.
