Verbovisual testimonial: Between works
Abstract
In a riveting verbovisual testimony the artist and professor Dra. Ana Amália Barbosa comments actions of mediation realized with her wheelchair students – most of them quadriplegic and mute, with cerebral palsy. She describes the context where the work happens, showing, through a verbal and imagetic narrative, the visits realized since 2009 to different places of exhibition in the city of São Paulo (SP), including the Tomie Ohtake Institute, SESC Pompeia, Galery of the Institute of Arts in the University from the State of São Paulo (UNESP) and the Latin America Memorial. Such actions involve a preparation work and open out to other activities after the visits. The author emphasizes the learning that happens based on this experiences.
