This paper details how to effectively share three-dimensional geological models using data conversion between two mainstream mining software, Micromine and Surpac. It also discusses the impact of this conversion method on geological integrated exploration decision-making guidance. The current situation primarily manifests in the fact that both Micromine and Surpac software have their own advantages and disadvantages, and different users vary in their application and proficiency with these two software programs. Some individuals are adept at using Micromine software but are less familiar with Surpac, and vice versa. Therefore, achieving seamless integration and conversion between these two software programs is crucial for enhancing the efficiency of geological exploration and mineral prospecting. By deeply analyzing the data formats of both software, a complete block file conversion process is proposed in this paper, which is verified by an actual case study. This paper not only explores technical details but also showcases practical application cases, emphasizing the importance of cross-software data conversion in improving the efficiency of geological exploration and mining planning. By optimizing the data conversion process, such as using automated scripts or plugins, the efficiency of data migration from Micromine to Surpac can be significantly improved, reducing manual input errors and accelerating project execution.
