In this paper, the separation energy of two neutrons (S2n) for light, medium, and heavy nuclei was determined (even-odd, odd-even), which ranges its atomic numbers between (10≤Z≤97). An equation was derived from calculating the two neutrons' separation energy (S2n) in nuclear binding energies based on the liquid drop model (LDM). Statistical relationships such as the standard deviation (σ) in addition to the root mean square deviation (rmsd) were used to determine the extent to which this model can be relied upon in determining the values of the two neutrons' separation energy (S2n). The results showed a very acceptable agreement between the experimental and theoretical values, and the proposed model was called the modified liquid drop model (MLDM).
