Instability Mode and Control Measures of High Slope in Waste Dump with Bedding Basement
Abstract
To solve the problem of bedding sliding along the contact surface between the material and the base of high slope in the waste dump with bedding basement, the dump slope of anticlinal tectonic influence area about Antaibao open-pit mine is taken as the example, and the engineering geological model is established. The combination method of numerical simulation and limit equilibrium analysis is used to study the shear strain increment, plastic zone distribution and displacement characteristics and slope stability of the lateral high slope about the main transport road. Through the research, it is proved that the deformation and instability mode of high slope in the waste dump with bedding basement is the combined sliding of “arc-bedding”, the stability control method of high slope in the waste dump with bedding basement based on the reverse soil discharge is proposed. The lateral slope height of the main transport road reduces from 75 m to 30 m by the stage drainage construction, which can guarantee the safety of the slope and shorten the inner discharge distance effectively.
