Paroles sur la dune

Abstract

I propose an Italian translation of this poem from Les Contemplations, Book V, and in the short comment I analyse certain aspects of Hugo’s cosmological poetry, which allow me to describe some features of what I call his “conceptual lyricism”. I also explain some choices in the translation and the poetic reasons of the choice of this poem for the present contribution.
