Abstract

North and south shoulders of the Dnieper-Donets basin formed as two relatively independent area of its deflection. For structural-tectonic zoning of shoulders is characteristic latitudinal and meridional dismemberment. Compared with other parts of the depression on the shoulders did not happen contrasting tectonic movements. The amplitude of the breaches are typically less than 100 and very rarely reaches 250 m. This more quiet structural-tectonic regime was typical for the formation of monoclonal on the slopes of the roof part of the lower oil and gas complex. The author systematized and summarized the results of previous research for more reliable assessment of potential oil and gas on the shoulders of depression. Due to a slight depression on the shoulders of depression is much better studied by drilling sections of the crystalline basement and in the Sumy and Kharkiv segments of mobile slope in northern shoulder in the Precambrian is already identified industrial (commercial) inflows of hydrocarbons. The author describes the essential elements of the structure of oil and gas complex as olistostromes-wedge-like structure in the top part, the value of the deep “the weathering” of crystal foundation, geodynamic types of traps (stockworks, vein) that developed during the second decompressed crystal base rock. The author proposed priority search objects in the oil and gas complex with productive traps.
