Abstract
The purpose of the article is to clarify the representative potential of the exhibition "Archival heritage of Pavlo Hryhorovych Tychyna (1891-1967) in the funds of the Institute of Manuscripts of the National Library of Ukraine named after V. I. Vernadskyi", to reveal the significance of the poet’s creative heritage for modern researchers. The research methodology is based on the application of analysis, synthesis and generalization, classification and systematization, induction and deduction, narrative, historical-typological, historical-problematic, historical-comparative, historical systemic, historical-genetic, retrospective and interpretive methods. Scientific novelty. The exhibits of the exhibition are analyzed according to three aspects: general, visual, substantive. The artistic value of the manuscripts, which fully compensate for the lack of pictorial sources, is substantiated. The scientific and informative value of handwritten documents is emphasized. Conclusions. The article reveals the representative potential of the electronic exhibition for the anniversary of P. G. Tychyna. The correspondence of the presented materials to the composition of the funds containing documents related to the famous Ukrainian poet was clarified. The electronic exhibition dedicated to the 130th anniversary of P. G. Tychyna represents two main funds of the Manuscript Institute, which store documents related to Pavel Hryhorovych: in quantitative, species, and personal aspects. The exhibits make it possible to form a correct idea about the presence of various writing materials in the presented era, which, in addition to the main one, also had an additional functional purpose. The expository manuscripts also demonstrate differences in spelling and vocabulary (compared to the current ones), the evolution of P. G. Tychyna’s handwriting, his style of signing autographs, writing features, which can be used to determine the primary and secondary nature of the text. The exhibits of the exhibition convey to the visitor the multifaceted image of Pavlo Hryhorovych. Autographs of poems almost completely represent the work of the poet chronologically and thematically. The manuscripts also highlight various biographical aspects. The analyzed exhibits of the electronic exhibition generally adequately represent both the funds of the Institute of Manuscripts of the V. I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine and the personality of P. G. Tychyna.
