Epithelial tumor has been the most common group of ovarian neoplasia found in women. Ovarian epithelial tumors are extremely rare in the testicular and para-testicular tissue of men, though benign, borderline and malignant neoplasia have been reported.1,2 However, no uniform consensus exists regarding the histogenesis, immunohistochemistry in pathological diagnosis, clinical behavior of the tumors, the role of chemotherapy, and prognosis due to the scarcity of the neoplasm. To date, no recommended guidelines have been circulated for treatment of ovarian epithelial tumors. Although infrequently reported in the Taiwanese medical literature, we report a case of low-grade serous papillary carcinoma of the ovarian epithelial-type in the testis, and review the English medical literature.
