El espionaje militar republicano durante la Guerra Civil Española
Abstract
At the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War, the Popular Army of the Republic had to set up useful intelligence services to know the capabilities and intentions of its enemy. Manuel Estrada Manchón was the officer responsible for this task, creating specialized sections. This article analyzes not only the origin and the evolution of these services but also their effectiveness during the most important battles of the conflict. The aim is to assess the effect that the information had on the final defeat of the Republican forces.
