Early interventions have a critical importance to prevent or reduce the problems faced by children who have developmental and academic disabilities or are considered at risk. To be able to intervene early, the evaluation of the children and determination of necessary services are required. In order to monitor the development of the children, to identify those at risk, to take the necessary precautions and to prepare the required programs, different evaluation methods are used at different periods. These evaluations, which provide support for families and specialists what they can do for the development of the child, begins with the prenatal period, and continue during infancy, early childhood and school periods. In this study, the evaluation and diagnostic implementations used in the process which includes the prenatal period and the school period in Turkey and the characteristics of the evaluation instruments used in these implementations have been tried to be introduced
