Political, regulatory and organizational prerequisites of the independent work of the inspector general

Abstract

On its road towards the European Union, the Republic of Macedonia adopted the Law on Inspection Control regulating the area of the management system control mechanism. Its full implementation will help respond, professionally and with highquality, to all the requirements imposed by the strict criteria of the EU in aligning the legislation with the EU directives and their enforcement. The control mechanism in the management system and the enforcement of legislation is achieved through political, regulatory and organizational prerequisites of independent work of the Inspector General who performs his duty at all levels of the state administration.
