Ergebnisse einer Umfrage unter Medizinbibliotheken im deutschsprachigen Raum 2017

Abstract

On behalf of the AGMB section for medical libraries at universities, an online survey was realized among medical libraries at universities in summer 2017. The main focus of this article is to present the methodological approach as well as the specific results of the survey to identify a status quo. Due to the heterogenity of the respective facilities regarding responsibilities and funding, number of students and financial background, the comparability is complex. The 25 questions were answered by 18 libraries. The questions included classical key figures such as stock size, budget size and staff size. There were also strategic questions on cooperations and the implied perspectives for the near future.
